When considering a Destination Wedding, most people think of the beach, heels off & sand in toes. Sometimes, they don´t even consider a Venue away from the ocean, in the middle of the dessert.
This brings me to Acre Baja. This beautiful Venue is located in the middle of the Dessert, that is a total Oasis, waiting to accommodate your Wedding, Corporate Event, Birthday party or an intimate dinner for two.
Meet Chris & Hayley. We were lucky enough to design & coordinate their beautiful Wedding!
First Look
When Hayley & Chris mentioned they wanted to do a First Look, we were overjoyed! This allows the photographer, who in this case was the amazing Julieta Amezcua, to take so many more photos with such great lighting, prior to the ceremony; it also allows the Bride & Groom to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests!
They decided to wait until they arrived to Acre so they could get all of the beautiful greenery in the background and the amazing scenary this venue has to offer.
Wedding Ceremony & Design
When we began with the ideas for their design and sent over some samples, they immediately knew they were in good hands, allowing us to do our thing, which came to a unique round structure, filled with greenery, proteas & succulents.
We used beautiful cross back chairs to keep with the farm style look and had cylinders filled with flowers.
In front of 80 of thier closest family, friends & beautiful palm trees, Hayley & Chris said “I do” to each other on a perfect day in February.
Cocktail Hour
Since Acre is in middle of an Oasis, they had their cocktail hour in the middle of Palm Trees, Greenery & Cactuses, next to a beautiful chic pool side, sipping on signature cocktails & the best canapés in Cabo!
Guest of Honor “Burrito”
What would a Destination Wedding in Cabo be without a Burro as their Usher? He made way for everyone to find their Escort Card and then to take a seat to welcome the Newlyweds.
As guests would find their tables, some had beautiful garlands and some had round table centerpieces, to match with the whole theme, on dark wooden tables and brown cross back chairs.
They danced the night away, eating farm to table food “Family Style” under a sea of stars with all of their Family & Friends.
