Cabo is Mexico’s leading destination wedding location, and business is booming. With a bevy of new resorts, restaurants and private residences opening their doors in recent years and even more projects in the works, there is no shortage of options for the newly engaged, regardless of budget. We were thrilled when Arizona based couple Sara and Erik chose the fresh and fabulous Le Blanc Spa Resort for their February nuptials, and the result was nothing short of spectacular!
Le Blanc is situated on the Transpeninsular Corridor, between the hustle and bustle of Cabo San Lucas and the quieter town of San Jose del Cabo. The luxury, all-inclusive property features clean lines, manicured gardens and a contemporary aesthetic, a welcome change in architectural style from many of the older properties nearby. We began our morning in Sara’s bridal suite, where photographer Sara Richardson arrived early to capture cute, candid moments between the bride and her closest girls. Sara looked elegant and refined in a form-fitting, ivory gown with an open back, which also featured a modest train trimmed in delicate lace. Makeup artist Bri Berliner brushed Sara’s gorgeous dark locks into a swept back down do, opting for a classic makeup look comprised of flawless skin and natural shades. To complete her classic look, Sara donned a pair of precious Jimmy Choo stilettos with a delicate ankle strap, and we think they were worth every cent!
Our ceremony was to take place on the resort’s outdoor terrace, with views to the sparkling Sea of Cortez, however, we had a pre-formalities first look to take care of first. Along with photographers Sara and Ramon, we had Erik, dapper in dark blue, wait for his bride at the bottom of the impressive staircase that descends from the hotel’s main lobby. All smiles, Sara tapped her groom on the shoulder and his sweet, genuine reaction had us crying happy tears too. After a few private moments between the future Mr and Mrs, it was time to get our ceremony underway. The team at Emporio Arte Floral decorated the hotel’s beautiful, “window-ish” terrace sculpture with long strands of greenery, the perfect altar before which to place our bride and groom. Their short and very sweet ceremony was conducted by the hotel’s minister, and both Sara and Erik were smiling throughout.
This fun-loving couple knew from the get-go that showing their guests a good time was high on their list of priorities when it came to planning their wedding. As if a Los Cabos destination weekend and all that the outstanding Le Blanc has to offer wasn’t enough, they threw a stunning reception in the hotel’s ballroom to boot. Emporio Arte Floral created charming centerpieces in low, gold bases, featuring whimsical arrangements of cream and pale peach roses and greenery. Crisp white linens, touches of gold and decorative signage completed the romantic look, which was the perfect combination of on-trend romantic and traditional. Guests wined, dined and danced the night away, all in honor of the very lovely Sara and Erik.
Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you for choosing Cabo Wedding Services. We are so very proud to have helped you design your dream wedding in Los Cabos.
